Hope Haven Gospel Mission Charity Profile

Hope Haven Gospel Mission is a homeless shelter that works to serve the needs of the homeless, hungry, and poor of Central Maine. We serve God by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of the disadvantaged, broken and addicted. Hope Haven Gospel Mission is a faith based, Christian Ministry whose mission is to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ while providing shelter, meals and hope, and offering assistance in the development of moral character by mentoring willing clients to re-enter the world as responsible citizens for Christ. Homeless individuals and families (Men, Women & Children) are fed and housed for a limited period of time to allow them to get settled in the area. The single men may choose to stay under our rehabilitation program. Regular assessments are made as to their progress, and to determine if the individual has complied consistently; demonstrating a genuine need to remain in the program.
