United Nations Development Programme UNDP Madagascar Charity Profile

Madagascar became a member of the United Nations (UN) on 20 September 1960. Present in Madagascar in the early years of independence, the agencies of the UN system are among the main partners of the Big Island in its efforts towards development. At the local level, the UN system is a coordination framework called UNDAF. Its objective is to improve the coherence of the various agencies on the ground who are grouped according to their respective mandates in groups and thematic effects.
