Sci-port LOUISIANA'S Science Center Charity Profile

Sci-Port: LOUISIANA'S Science Center provides a fun, educational environment for people of all ages to explore and actively engage in the world of mathematics, science and technology. Sci-Port serves to spark curiosity about the world around us, provides hands-on tools for using scientific discovery in everyday life, and encourages a passion for life-long learning.

Sci-Port is a 92,000 square-foot science and entertainment center in Shreveport-Bossier, featuring over 290 science, space science, technology and math exhibits; daily changing programs, an IMAX Dome Theatre, open-access, interactive, laser SPACE DOME Planetarium, gift shop and café. Sci-Port is located on the downtown Shreveport Riverfront.

Sci-port LOUISIANA'S Science Center Donation Information

Sci-Port is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that relies on private community support - from individuals, companies and foundations. Earned income supports 2/3 of our annual budget, leaving 1/3 that must be developed from the combined public/private sector. This reliance on contributions is necessary to ensure high quality, changing programs, exhibits, films and other educational resources that are affordable and accessible to all. In return, Sci-Port promises you continuous, one-of-a-kind opportunities to experience its WOWs for yourself and to share with others.
