Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans Charity Profile

Mission: The CAC is a multi-disciplinary arts center, financially stable and professionally managed, which is dedicated to the presentation, production and promotion of art of our time. It accomplished these by organizing curated exhibitions, performances and programs; enlarging audiences; and encouraging collaboration among diverse artists, institutions, communities and supporters.

Our vision is that the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans be a multi-disciplinary arts center, nationally recognized as a leader in the presentation and support of contemporary arts, artists and emerging art forms. In doing so, it will explore and involve the diverse cultures of our communities.

Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans Volunteer Information

Enjoy the music, art and energy of CAC events from behind the scenes. Volunteering at the CAC gives you the opportunity to see how the CAC continually puts on great art exhibitions, theatrical productions, musical performances, outrageous parties, and major community events. Plus, mingle with other volunteers in the arts community. Volunteers are needed periodically for large special events, and also more regularly to help our reduced staff.
