TARC Charity Profile
TARC in a non-profit organization that services people with disabilities and their families.
The mission of TARC is to provide opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to realize their full potential, to fulfill their gifts and talents, and to become self-directed and contributing citizens.
OUR GOAL is to promote the general welfare of children and adults in the Florida Parishes. To foster and develop programs and services for individuals with speical needs. To serve as an advocate for families. To gather and disperse information. To cooperate with the public and private providers in the furtherance of goals. To aid parents in the solution to their problembs as it relates to individual challenges. To provide support and education while encouraging maximum growth through quality services.
*Early Steps provides services to children from birth - 3 years of age.
*Community Supports & Services program provides services to individuals 3 years - 99 years of age.
* Medicaid Wavier Services Provider.
*Durable Medical Equipment Provider

Volunteers make all the difference...
If you can give a little bit of your time and talent to make a difference in the life of a person with special needs. Their are many opportunities that arise and new projects that develop daily. Volunteering can range from filing in an office to helping with one of our many fundraisers.
