The Arc of Louisiana Charity Profile
The Arc of Louisiana advocates with and for all people with disabilities and their families. The Arc is devoted to promoting and improving supports and services for individuals with disabilities and their families. Through the Arc, advocacy occurs with executive and legislative branches of government, state agencies, school districts and other provider organizations. The Arc also educates policymakers, people with disabilities, families and service providers on best practices and issues that impact people and their families. Our goal is to be a force that creates opportunities for people and their families to have choices as they live their lives in the community.
The Arc of Louisiana Volunteer Information
Occasionally The Arc host fundraisers. It is always helpful to have extra people who are able to help make an event run smoothly. The Arc of Louisiana has 21 affiliated local chapters who provide direct service to individuals with disabilities and their families.
