Sustainable Laos Education Initiatives Charity Profile

Sustainable Laos Education Initiatives Inc. is a Canadian registered non-profit organization that fundraises and runs environmental education projects in remote rural areas in Lao PDR. We accept poor, eager youth, who want to develop themselves and their communities in socially and environmentally sustainable ways, to come and board with us for 1-year, learning programs. We also have short, intensive workshops on issues relavent to the community.

Sustainable Laos Education Initiatives Donation Information

Although our goal is to eventually make the school economically self-sufficient, we're not there yet. We still need money to support our education programs, sponsor students, establish a community forest and pay staff salaries. There are a number of ways that you can get involved, and make a lasting difference with a very small amount of money. Consider this: just $15 dollars per month is sufficient to sponsor a student, providing us with the funds to by rice and other items we may not be able to produce on site.
