Lexington SCORE Chapter Charity Profile

Kentucky’s SCORE Business Counseling Centers are comprised of a network of multiple centers located throughout the Commonwealth dedicated to providing professional services that will maximize the success of America’s existing and emerging small businesses.

Our business counseling centers are typically aligned with Kentucky’s Area Development Districts in order for each center to have a defined served market area and be able to reach and provide needed assistance to most potential business clients across the Commonwealth.

All Kentucky SCORE Counseling Centers operate in accordance with the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality as set forth by the National SCORE Association.

Lexington SCORE Chapter Volunteer Information

SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives) is in need of volunteers to staff a new business counseling center in Cities through out Kentucky. Utilizing your business expertise to help a small business startup or expand is a rewarding experience and leaves a lasting contribution to our community. A wide range of volunteer roles is available including individual/team counseling, email counseling, business training workshops, and administrative support. Scheduling is flexible so as not to interfere with other retirement activities. SCORE is a resource partner of the U.S. Small Business Administration.
