Housing Development Alliance Charity Profile

The Housing Development Alliance believes safe, decent affordable housing is a basic human right. The Housing Development Alliance strives to develop a variety of housing options including shelter for the homeless; transitional housing; affordable rental housing; repair and rehabilitation of existing homes; and affordable new homes for person with low and very low incomes. As a community based nonprofit, we seek to bring together all sectors of the community to help eliminate substandard housing.

Housing Development Alliance Volunteer Information

Volunteers work on various phases of construction, from shingling to digging footer drains, framing floors and walls to painting or landscaping. We assign volunteer work based on open projects at the time of your stay. Construction experience is not required. You will always have a carpenter onsite to guide you through each project.

Housing Development Alliance Donation Information

Support from the community and regional partners is a crucial source of program funding. Your support will extend our limited resources to enable us to serve more families in need.
