Junior Achievement Kazakhstan Charity Profile

The Public Fund «Junior Echivment Kazakhstan» is a member of the international non-profit educational organization «Junior Achievement Worldwide» (osn. in 1919).

Junior Achievement ™ (JA) is the oldest, largest and rapidly growing non-profit organization in the field of economic education. Junior Achievement develops and implements programs in the 113-countries of the world. Program of Junior Achievement ™ translated into 36 languages. Each year about 6 million students participate in Junior Achievement programs throughout the world. Since the founding of the organization Junior Achievement programs have benefited nearly 40 million people.
Mission Junior Achievement ™ Worldwide: value and to assist member countries to develop and implement programs for economic and business education for children and young people through partnerships between educational institutions and businesses.

Junior Achievement ™ program focuses on seven key areas: business, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics, financial literacy and skills development-related careers.
Junior Echivment Kazakhstan - Kazakhstan, the only public fund, which targeted and comprehensive works towards promoting and developing programs for economic and business education for upper secondary school.



Social Impact Fund projects based on the issue of public importance:


«Only 30% of high school students consciously choose professional activities consistent with their abilities. 70% of future graduates have low self-esteem and not ready for self-sufficiency in life. Because of the lack of profilizatsii education at upper school leavers remain unclaimed in the labor market ... »(source - State Development Program obrazovaniyav Republic of Kazakhstan for 2005-2010).

Over 13 years of Junior Echivment in Kazakhstan Junior Achievement programs have been widely disseminated. A study conducted by USAID in 2005, showed that the program JA, based on the unique interactive techniques, achieved their goal - promotion of entrepreneurship among young people. Alumni Junior Echivment believe that the JA program had a positive impact on the choice of life.


Priority objective OF Junior Echivment Kazakhstan until 2010:


Through partnerships with government and business sector of Kazakhstan to promote the establishment and development of core economic and business degree in secondary education as the basis of pre training graduates during the transition to 12-year education.


The main objectives of the fund:

The development and dissemination of economic and business education,
Students in general high schools, colleges and higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan with the laws of market economy, a business excellence through a real organization and maintenance of their own affairs.

The main objectives of the fund:

Adaptation, translation and publication in Kazakh and Russian educational programs Foundation, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Science of Kazakhstan,
Development of new educational technologies (computer modeling, animation electronic textbooks)
Learning new programs for teachers and trainers,
Organizing and conducting at the national level monitoring activities, such as the National Tournament schoolchildren on the economy, fair youth entrepreneurship, Internet Essay «Business Ethics», Internet-competition program «MESE-MEM», «Banks in action».
