SOS Children`s Villages Italy Charity Profile

SOS Children's Villages and 'to an international organization, is engaged in assisting children in difficulties in preventing abandonment. In Italy, working mainly with entrust the family, while in developing countries promotes both the areas of intervention, or care and prevention. SOS Children's Villages Onlus was founded in Italy in 1963 in Trento. The Italian volunteers are the founders and promoters in the country. From 1949 SOS Children's Villages and 'committed in 132 countries around the world to ensure full satisfaction of the basic rights of children enshrined in the Convention on the Rights of the Child, each year helps about 60,000 children orphaned or abandoned as a million persons falling within its integrated support to children and their family: in addition to reception, health, education, vocational training and family strengthening.
