UNDP Iraq Charity Profile

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has had a sustained presence as a leading development agency in Iraq since 1976. The last UNDP Country Programme for Iraq was presented to the Governing Council in 1987.

Our Mission is to support the government and people of Iraq in their transition towards reconciliation, peace, and stability by focusing on democratic governance, poverty alleviation, recovery and the environment.
