Northwoods Living is an agency in Fort Dodge, Iowa, providing a variety of services to adults with disabilities since 1989. Our programs are driven by a vision that one day all individuals, including those with disabilities, will be able to live self-directed lives as they fulfill the rights and responsibilities of full citizenship.To facilitate partnerships with consumers to be successful and satisfied while learning, living, working, and socializing in the environments of their choice.

Northwoods Living has several opportunities for people who wish to volunteer. The possibilities range from becoming a special friend to an individual who lives at Northwoods Living's Intermediate Care Facility for Adults with Mental Retardation (ICF/MR) to serving as a Resident Advocate to help ensure the residents receive quality care and are treated with dignity and respect.
