Theatre Cedar Rapids Charity Profile

Among the region's largest and longest-operating community theatres, Theatre Cedar Rapids is temporarily located at TCR Lindale while the Iowa Theatre in the heart of downtown Cedar Rapids, Iowa undergoes renovations. During the August to July season, more than 700 volunteers and 9 full-time staff, part-time help and contract artists work together to create an ambitious lineup of musicals, comedies, dramas and classics in addition to providing theatre education programs for all ages. The Mission of TCR is to provide quality theatre, maximizing community participation and education in theatre arts, to Cedar Rapids and the surrounding region.

Theatre Cedar Rapids Volunteer Information

More than 600 volunteers are involved in producing a season of shows and events at TCR. On stage, backstage, out front or behind the scenes, there are dozens of ways to become involved as a volunteer. No matter what your age, experience or schedule you can find something that is perfect for you.
