Marshall County Community Foundation Charity Profile

The Marshall County Community Foundation is a vehicle for people of all means to contribute to their community. You may establish your names fund and the foundation will find a way to target exactly the kind of charity that suits your desires and to make every dollar count for the maximum good. You may also contribute to the general endowment of the Foundation to help a variety of charitable needs.

A community foundation does not conduct programs of its own, but supports new and existing programs of nonprofit organizations. Its general endowment fund is not used to provide grants for operating funds, but instead the income is used as a flexible and timely source of funds to meet the ever changing needs of our community.

A community foundation represents a wide variety of ideas and interests of individual donors who have united with a common purpose -- the betterment of the community both now and in the future. Thus, a community foundation serves both donors and charitable needs.
