East 10th Street Civic Association View Charity Profile

The East 10th Street Civic Association is a community-led organization dedicated to the revitalization of the Indianapolis Eastside. The Association works to stimulate growth through economic restructuring and the development of community and cultural resources that affect the City of Indianapolis.

The Association’s first revitalization project, 10 East Main Street, is one of the city’s key neighborhood business districts. This nine block project area encompasses more than 25 unique and eclectic neighborhood-serving retail businesses and organizations located between Temple and Olney Streets. The Association is working to strengthen 10 East Main Street as a healthy and economically vital commercial and residential corridor.

The Civic Association offers technical assistance for small business growth and development; hosts rehab workshops and provides programs focusing on architectural guidelines, regulations and design services appropriate to improving and preserving the corridor’s physical environment; and encourages the application of business practices appropriate to the community’s needs.
