Towne House Retirement Community Charity Profile

Developed in 1965, The Towne House is a not-for-profit, continuing care retirement community offering a complete range of services designed to meet your changing needs. We provide independent living and assisted living in our spacious apartments, and comprehensive and skilled nursing care in our adjoining Medicare certified Health Center.

The beautifully landscaped grounds of The Towne House campus include attractive courtyards, a putting green, a playground for our very young visitors, and Krouse Park, with its paved walkways, benches, and gazebo. Residents of both the retirement center apartments and the health center have an opportunity to enjoy “nature at its best.”

At The Towne House you may enjoy leisurely dining amid the atmosphere of classical elegance in one of our dining rooms. You may order your meals from an appetizing menu and be served at your table by our friendly, professional staff. Restaurant style menus are offered so that you may select the entrees you prefer. The Towne and Country Café is also open during the day for a variety of “short order” selections in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of your friendly neighborhood diner.

Towne House Retirement Community Volunteer Information

The Towne House has a variety of volunteer opportunities for our residents and individuals from the surrounding communities. While most of our volunteers would tell you that they enjoy volunteering for the intrinsic rewards, they also appreciate the other “perks” of being part of the volunteer program at The Towne House. Volunteers are regularly commended for their important contributions. They may also receive other tokens of appreciation, such as gift certificates for the Towne and Country Café at The Towne House.
