AIDS Resource Group Charity Profile
The AIDS Resource Group of Evansville (ARG) was founded in 1986 by a group of dedicated volunteers who were concerned about the impact of HIV/AIDS on their loved ones and the greater Evansville community. At a time when little was known about the virus and even less about its treatment, the group worked to produce health care and medications for those infected.
Our mission is to provide a network of support services to HIV-seropositive persons, to persons living with AIDS and to the friends and families of choice of these individuals. These services shall be provided in the strictest of confidence.
Further, we will provide current and factual information about all aspects of the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) to Evansville, Indiana and surrounding counties.
