SAMRUDHI Micro Fin Society Charity Profile

SAMRUDHI Micro Fin Society (SAMRUDHI) is a not for profit organisation registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960.The rationale behind registering SAMRUDHI as a society is to support socio-economic developmental activities of rural & urban poor. SAMRUDHI has initiated its activities with livelihood based financial services to the poor women. SAMRUDHI plans to scale-up its operations to reach 200,000 poor families by 2013. The long-term vision of SAMRUDHI is to cover at least 50 poorest districts of India.

SAMRUDHI's mission is to empower the poor and underprivileged to become economically self-reliant by providing cost effective and need based financial services in a financially sustainable manner.

SAMRUDHI Micro Fin Society Volunteer Information

SAMRUDHI recognizes that contribution of time and talent are just as important as financial contribution. Therefore SAMRUDHI encourages volunteers to contribute their time by volunteering at our Head Office. Volunteering with SAMRUDHI is a rewarding experience as volunteers get to participate actively in accelerating social and economic change in the lives of poor. SAMRUDHI's volunteers build awareness of solutions to the Micro finance challenges and raise critical resources to implement these solutions. Volunteering can be a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, gain useful experience, develop new interest, and to be part of the community. Believe us, it does make a meaningful impact !
