PAADHAI Charity Profile

PAADHAI Trust grew out of the worldwide shock provoked by the Asian tsunami of December 2004. Crossing frontiers, there was a wave of sympathy and for a brief period, we seemed to be living a worldwide solidarity. The cataclysm also brought out the difficulties in extending direct help to local populations.

A network of people with different national ities rapidly gathered with the will to bring their energies together into a commitment full of meaning.
