SARET Charitable fund Charity Profile

SARET Charitable fund was established in August 1985 shortly after the death of a two year old Cambodian child named SARET Yann who resided with her parents in a one bedroom apartment in Wheaton. The economic plight of SARET's family while the child was battling a deadly disease became the inspiration to help other families like that of SARET, during their time of crisis.

Saret is a grassroots not for profit philanthropic organization dedicated to assisting DuPage residents facing economic hardships and in need of immediate assistance. The assistance SARET provides encompasses rent assistance, utilities, car repair and car donations, food and clothing vouchers.

Our mission is to prevent homelessness and hunger in the western suburbs, to provide hope when hope seems impossible and to restore dignity to individuals or families facing a current economic and life crisis.
