Girl Scouts - Sybaquay Council serves nearly 9,775 girls and 2,225 adults in more than 50 communities throughout a 7-county jurisdiction including, McHenry County and parts of Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Lake, and LaSalle counties.

Girl Scouts - Sybaquay Council is a network of girls and adults who are members of Girl Scouts of the USA. A volunteer Board of Directors governs Sybaquay Council. Council delegates are selected from each service unit and provide input to the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors delegates the management of operations to the chief operating officer. Council volunteer committees, service unit volunteers and staff, work as partners to provide the Girl Scout program to girls within Sybaquay Council's jurisdiction. Our service area is divided into service units, which are geographic areas, usually one town or a part of a larger town.
