Located in the scenic Fox River Valley in the Chicago Metropolitan area, the Fox Valley Park District is a premier park and recreation organization serving an expanding and diverse customer base in one of the fastest growing regions in the Midwest.
The Fox Valley Park District is the largest park district in Illinois outside of Chicago. The district serves a population of more than 200,000 people, the majority of whom live in the city of Aurora, the second-largest city in Illinois. The district also serves the villages of Montgomery and North Aurora and several unincorporated areas. Its facilities are located in Kane, DuPage, Kendall and Will counties.Enrich our community with fun, diverse and safe park and recreation experiences through environmentally and fiscally responsible actions.

At the Fox Valley Park District, we believe volunteerism is one of the highest forms of recreation. Community involvement is a vital key in staying active and making a difference in others’ lives. The District has an assortment of volunteer opportunities that can offer challenging and rewarding use of leisure time. Volunteer participation in the Fox Valley Park District instills a sense of ownership and responsibility.Volunteers must be 14 years of age to independently volunteer. Youths younger than age 14 may volunteer with a parent or legal guardian.
