Wolf Education and Research Center Charity Profile

The Wolf Education and Research Center is dedicated to providing public education and scientific research concerning the gray wolf and its habitat in the Northern Rocky Mountains. The Center will provide the public with the rare opportunity to observe and learn more about the wolf in its natural habitat. It is our goal to be an inclusive organization that offers factual and balanced information. We seek to enhance public awareness of threatened species in the region and to develop in concert with residents ways to coexist with these species.

Wolf Education and Research Center Volunteer Information

Volunteers are a valued and important part of the Wolf Center and they play an essential role in the many programs that we provide.To be a successful volunteer at the Wolf Center while enjoying your experience here, you need to display a positive attitude, be proactive, energized, hard working and self-motivated. Volunteers need to be creative, flexible, and responsible. Volunteers need to be able to work with the public and be willing to contribute to the overall development of the Wolf Center and the image we uphold. The Wolf Center enjoys a positive relationship with local communities. We expect volunteers to maintain this positive image and relationship.

Wolf education is in a crisis. Federal and State policy is opening the door to killing wolves and organizations like the Wolf Center stand in the gap between policy and the protection of wildlife. The mission of the Wolf Education & Research Center is needed more now than ever.
