Nuestros Pequenos Hermanos Honduras Charity Profile
In 1954, a boy was arrested for stealing the alms box of a parish in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico. A young priest, the United States, Father William Wasson, was not willing to press charges against the couple, instead of the requested custody of the boy. A week after the judge ordered eight more guys stranded. At the end of the year, had 32 children, and so was born "Our Little Brothers."
More than 15,000 children have grown up in the family of PHN, which now houses operating in nine countries: Mexico, Honduras, Haiti, Nicaragua, Guatemala, El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Peru and Bolivia. Currently, over 2,800 children are cared for in an environment of love and security.
