The SOS Kinderdörfer is an independent, non-governmental and interdenominational child welfare organization, which is world-wide active. We made it for us the task to help distressed children a better life. Our world-wide organization is over decades a network of over one hundred associations, grown, which are united in the respective country rooted and under a common roof. By the way: Our sister association SOS Kinderdorf registered association is carrier association of the SOS Kinderdörfer in Germany. The world-wide success of the SOS Kinderdörfer is based on the connection of autonomous local responsibility, global acting and a simple, timeless concept.
