From our humble beginning in Bolingbroke, Georgia to the elaborate and state-of-the-art facility on Zebulon Road in Macon, Georgia, the mission has remained strong and without compromise.
The mission of Hephzibah Children's Home Is to provide a Christ-centered, safe, and wholesome residential environment For at-risk children and young people.
For over 100 years the ministry of Hephzibah Children's Home has cared for children who were orphaned, displaced or removed from their homes because of abuse and neglect. Through the Great Depression, the World Wars, the Korean and Viet Nam Conflicts, the baby boomer era and now into the 21st century, we have been ministering to the needs of hurting children. This has been, and always will be, the mission of Hephzibah Children's Home.
Hephzibah Children's Home Volunteer Information
For over 100 years, people have volunteered at the Hephzibah campus. From tutors to visiting physicians, guest chefs to gardeners, people have always participated in helping our children and staff. Most recently, volunteers from all across the United States and Canada have come to help us expand our facilities to reach even more children. The testimonies of the blessings the volunteers receive from being here are in their words "worth more than pay." At Hephzibah Children's Home volunteers find opportunities for both short term and long term service. We call our program the "Volunteers With A Mission". By volunteering your services you too can make a difference in the lives of needy children and young people.
