Project3Sixty Charity Profile

Project3Sixty, Inc. is one of the first residential rehabilitation facilities to rescue homeless men and women from suffering; offering the simplest of life’s necessities, leading to the ability to revive and restore their personal pride and honor and become a productive and contributing member to society. Project3Sixty, Inc. has plans to successfully aid men and women in urban environments that have been historically known to battle a disproportionate number of social issues, including not only homelessness but domestic violence, poverty, illiteracy, mental illness and unemployment.

Toccara Smith is a courageous and pioneering African American woman who intends to convert her lifelong passion into a sanctuary where homeless men and women could address their social ills thereby rebuilding their lives. Her very basic motif is to revive, restore and release! Toccara and her team will carry out her vision. Project3Sixty, Inc. became a non-profit 501(c)(3) non-project organization incorporated in the State of Georgia in 2009.

Today, under the present leadership of Toccara Smith, Executive Director and its dedicated board of directors, Project3Sixty, Inc. has positioned itself for growth and development.

The Program specializes in providing high quality, effective and culturally rich residential, outpatient and outreach services along with intensive case management by certified counselors. Project3Sixty, Inc. will be steeped in traditional upgrades that will provide the most vulnerable of its resident’s excellent care. Specifically, the program’s target population is comprised of men and women ‘found’ on the streets of metro Atlanta, Georgia and its surrounding counties. Project3Sixty, Inc. is a unique and valuable program, deeply tied to the community.

The continuum of care is designed to build motivation and ability to achieve long term sobriety, thereby overcoming the individual’s dependence on bureaucratic systems that governs their lives and threaten the Program’s resources. Especially competent in addressing the multiple vulnerabilities of the men and women, the continuum of care is continually improved upon to meet the most urgent and applicable needs of the community it exists to serve.

The dedicated staff of Project3Sixty, Inc. works with each client to effectively empower them to sustain a sense of hope and remain committed to change.
The primary goals of the organization are to:
• Revive! Rescue the individual from his/her current environment; set them aside and revive with heart to heart resuscitation with the intention of waking the individual up!
• Restore! Create and rebuild opportunities for sustaining sobriety and building economically, socially and spiritually stable lives.
• Release! Give clients the responsibility for building and redirecting their lives thus upgrading their individual contributions to the communities in which they live.

All of these goals are accomplished by participation in the residential treatment program, transitional living residence, outpatient treatment program, aftercare services and training provided by Project3Sixty, Inc. The mission of Project3Sixty, Inc. is to aid homeless (and otherwise distressed) people in urban environments whose exposure to social issues such as domestic violence, poverty, illiteracy and mental illness have caused unemployment and homelessness in their lives. We will provide a sanctuary where the homeless will receive comprehensive social services and support which will enable them to rebuild their lives.
