We are a nonprofit public charity incorporated in the state of Georgia in December 2000. We have received official classification from the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) that recognizes our tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status. Our Federal ID# is 58-2593270.
Mission Statement: Our first priority is to help those who are in the greatest need, especially those who have found themselves in unfortunate circumstances through no fault of their own. Our second priority is to create programs that help people help themselves by providing tools and support that enable the ambitious and hard-working to better themselves and escape poverty. Our third priority is to produce or supply programs that provide a benefit to the general public, such as training classes that promote general health or welfare. Our fourth priority is to provide educational materials and resources to foster public understanding on the nature of religion and to promote better relations of those of various faiths.
A Grain of Hope Foundation does not solicit or use government/tax money. We are a completely independent, self-governing nonprofit charity. We impose strict controls on the use of our funds to ensure we are accountable to you, our donors, and the general public.
We strive to run a lean charity - we want as much money going directly to the program recipients as possible. Therefore, we keep our administrative costs extremely low - we have no fancy offices or other perks. Our Board members and our officers work as unpaid volunteers. Therefore, when you donate to this nonprofit charity, you can be assured that your money will be put to work to help the poor, the needy, the impoverished, those less fortunate who, through no fault of their own, have found themselves in dire circumstances.
