Manasota SCORE View Charity Profile
SCORE is a national, non-profit organization with over 11,000 members which began in 1964. We are a group of working and retired business executives who donate our time assisting people in the U.S. in starting-up new businesses or providing business counseling for existing businesses.
The Manasota Chapter of SCORE has about 50 volunteer consultants locally to assist you by mentoring on a wide range of business issues.
We provide FREE COUNSELING at a number of locations in Manatee and Sarasota Counties, select the Request Counseling option on the left to initiate your request. Once submitted, it will be reviewed and a volunteer counselor will contact you in a few business days - the more information you provide, the better we will be able to assign a knowledgeable counselor!
We also provide a number of FREE WORKSHOPS during the year on topics such as Starting Up, Business Planning, Financing, Marketing and Managing and Growing your business. Select the Workshop option on the left to review our current schedule and enrollment options.

Manasota SCORE Volunteer Information
SCORE is an all volunteer organization. Our volunteers are working/retired business owners, executives and corporate leaders. If you want to share your business expertise, give back to your community and connect with like-minded people, consider volunteering with SCORE.
It does that mainly by providing personal, professional and confidential counseling and mentoring, free of charge.
We're looking for people who are year-'round residents of Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, Northport or Englewood. You must be computer literate, and have 5-10 hours per week which you can spend helping clients and supporting the chapter in our efforts.
