Avian Reconditioning Center Charity Profile

The Avian Reconditioning Center is a not for profit birds of prey rehabilitation and education facility.One of our main focuses is the physical reconditioning of raptors that have been inactive for an extended period of time while recovering from illness or injury.We also use falconry techniques to evaluate a bird's chances for survival in the wild after recovering from
an injury and to teach nestling birds how to hunt.Education is a primary focus as well and we provide many education opportunities using live birds of prey.

Avian Reconditioning Center Volunteer Information

Avian Reconditioning Center has many volunteer opportunities. Raptor rehabilitation, management and education takes a lot of work and we can use many hands in many areas from small mammal care to administrative help.
