UBECI Volunteer Projects Charity Profile
UBECI is a non-governmental organization located in Quito, Ecuador. Our every day work is realized in a professional and premeditated manner in order to construct a better future for the children that need help through our projects.
In response to these social situations we have various activities:
We seek and find scholarships for children so that they can enroll in school.
We have discussions with parents about violence, sexual abuse.
We organize campaigns for health, nutrition, ecological and human values in the lives of the children and their families.
We assistance children and their families receive necessary medical attention and emergency care.
We develop educational, assistance and recreational program for children and their families.
Our mission is provide program with support for the child and develop of the people, instilling such education, gender, health, values as respect, confidence, self-respect. Founded upon a deep desire for social change it is directed at the most vulnerable people in our communities. UBECI offers hope where there is no hope and opportunity to the vulnerable children.

Working children Program
It is a sad reality to see children as young as 3 years old working as vendors in the markets, streets and countryside of Ecuador. These children spend an average of 10 hours each day selling vegetables and candy or working on the land for their families. The majority come from families where abuse psychological, physical or sexual is common a result to these vulnerable children they often have deep rooted problems.
Volunteer Activities: Collect the children from the work space, Help to wash children’s hands and face, Sing with children, painting, drawing, writing, etc.
For our projects the Volunteers are an essential part of UBECI, we incorporate volunteers who are specialized in a certain field and those that are seeking a new experience and want to help. We appreciate any time you can offer.
