Gallo Activities, Denmark Charity Profile

All Gallo activities are non-commercial grassroots activities under the Gallo Foundation. These activities have been initiated by Johannes Nielsen as a help to self-help through creative activities, and through the provision of creative outlets in the form of art exhibitions and book publishing. We have extended our scope, over the course of the last year, to include sports activities and collective cultivation of vegetables and flowers. The main target group for Gallo activities consists of people with psychological-social problems, or mental illnesses. However, the publishing and art exhibition facilities are open to everybody. We do not discriminate against the mentally healthy in Gallo.
