The mission of Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is to build simple, decent, and affordable houses in partnership with low-income families in Sussex County.
Sussex County Habitat for Humanity Volunteer Information
Sussex County Habitat for Humanity is a volunteer-driven organization. We welcome people from all walks of life to join us as we build simple, decent, affordable houses in partnership with God and families in need. Though the vast majority have no construction experience or building skills, volunteers are involved in most phases of construction. By working side-by-side with families who will live in the house, our volunteers experience for themselves the joy created when people are able to realize their dreams of homeownership.
Sussex County Habitat for Humanity Donation Information
Each gift you make helps a family in need of decent shelter. All Sussex County Habitat For Humanity donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law and will be acknowledged with a letter you may use for those purposes. Gifts made on-line are safe, thanks to our secure-server capability and will be put to good use by Habitat. We take seriously our responsibility to contributors, to those counting on our help to be wise stewards of funds entrusted to us.
