U-volunteer Costa Rica Volunteer Information
uVolunteer is an international volunteer travel organisation. We design volunteer vacations for individuals whose goal is volunteer in Latin America. We currently offer volunteer abroad placements in Bolivia, Costa Rica and Ecuador. We work with local: NGOs, governments, grass roots organisations and private partners to offer volunteer work abroad projects in fields such as Teaching English, Sports Coaching, Community Development, Eco-tourism, Conservation, Environment and Media & Technology. We do this at a price that is reasonable without sacrificing quality of service. uVolunteer is run by volunteers for volunteers, and is built on the principle that volunteer vacations should be affordable and accessible to all. uVolunteer understands that you are donating your time and your money in order to volunteer abroad. That is why uVolunteer offers one of the most comprehensive packages of services offered by a volunteer organization. Because we maintain our operations in our volunteer destination countries, we are able to significantly lower our administrative costs. Our savings enable us to offer volunteer projects at significantly reduced rates. Every time we initiate volunteer abroad programs within our destination communities we try to create self-sustainable development so that these volunteer projects can continue to evolve without external influences. uVolunteer continues to support the programs we help develop and assist by supplying these local projects with international volunteers, thereby enhancing the exchange of culture, knowledge and skills.
