Reto Juvenil Internacional Charity Profile
Youth Challenge Costa Rica throughout its more than 15 years of work, has defined its services as providing a space in which local and international volunteers can find a way to effectively participate that enriches their personal experience, and at the same time, contribute to the improvement of the quality of life in communities within our country and outside.
To achieve this important objective, we have designed strategies that permit us to improve our knowledge and involvement, as well as our work, within the communities.
- Defining a ‘Poverty Map’ of a country using socio-economic indicators derived from recent studies.
- Implementation of a Results Monitoring System.
- Post-project field work in order to evaluate and follow up on the work we have done in communities that we have supported.
We have also established cooperation agreements with government entities or other organizations, that allow us to establish institutional support networks, therefore contributing to the sustainability of our projects.
