Finca La Flor De Paraiso Charity Profile
La Flor de Paraíso is an agroecological farm-school located in a beautiful natural setting above Orosi valley near Paraíso.
The project offers Spanish lessons in its Alternative Spanish Institute. We encourage international students as well as our regular guests to take part in our voluntary work programs to learn more about such topics as organic farming, reforestation, communal or environmetal issues in Costa Rica. We regularly hold work shops and courses on our farm such as our Sustainable Development Course. La Flor is also a beautiful vacation retreat to escape the big city and day-to-day hectic life.

Finca La Flor De Paraiso Volunteer Information
ASODECAH (Association for the Development of Environmental and Human Consciousness) works with people from the community, with volunteers making an essential contribution to the project. Volunteers are welcome all year round without any time constraints. Whether you come to develop a special skill or simply to experience living with nature, you will always find the enthusiasm here to accommodate your wishes.
Volunteers are welcome for a short or a long period of time. ASODECAH works with several volunteer organizations in the U.S., Canada, and Europe such as AFS or WWOOF. All ages are encouraged to volunteer. Although Spanish knowledge is not required, it is to the advantage for the volunteer to study Spanish. ASODECAH runs an Alternative Spanish Language Institute as well where classes are offered.
The work of the volunteers is in the following areas of the farm:
