Alliance for Living Charity Profile

Alliance for Living came into being in 1998 with the merger of two organizations which had served the HIV/AIDS population in New London County since 1986. Although both agencies were highly dedicated, it was felt, by the respective Boards, that a greater good could be accomplished by the merger of the organizations.The Alliance for Living is dedicated to improving the quality of life for people affected by HIV/AIDS in New London County. Alliance accomplishes its mission through direct services that support the life needs of people affected by HIV/AIDS. Alliance is dedicated to education, prevention services and advocacy on behalf of those it serves.

Alliance for Living Volunteer Information

Volunteers play a vital role at the Alliance for Living (AFL). Without the much-needed generosity of our volunteers, our organization would not be able to function. Many members are active volunteers and enjoy working together and with the staff on a variety of projects. Please, come help us continue to make a difference in the lives of our members.
