Canton Historical Museum Charity Profile
The Canton Historical Museum is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization displaying a record of life in the town of Canton. Our artifacts and information span from the time of the Native Americans through Canton's growth as a farming community, to its rich history at the forefront of the Industrial Revolution and as a thriving town during the Victorian era.
Canton Historical Museum Volunteer Information
The Canton Historical Museum has many openings for guides, greeters, researchers, administrative assistants, and more. You can work as little as three hours per month or as much as you’d like.
Our guides receive extensive training in the collections and we always welcome those with computer skills, an interest in knowing more about the history of Canton, or a desire to enjoy time with others who have similar interests. Our volunteers are as young as teens and as old as the hills…but they’re all enthusiastic about making our museum a draw for visitors from far and near.
