Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation Charity Profile
Charlie and Robbie Kaman’s intuitive knowledge of how German shepherd guide dogs could help people with visual disabilities live a more normal life was the genesis of the Fidelco Guide Dog Foundation. Beginning in 1960, the work done by this innovative couple and an ever-growing group of dedicated and tireless staff, volunteers and supporters, has reached out and touched thousands of clients’ and family members’ lives. Today, Fidelco is an internationally-recognized leader in the guide dog industry. And the legacy of dedication and quality given to the organization by the Kamans will guide Fidelco for generations to come

Fidelco cannot exist without our incredible volunteers. From those who maintain our kennels, to the people who help plan and execute our fundraising events, to the foster families who raise and socialize our puppies, we treasure each and every interaction with these volunteers who are the heart of our organization.
