Bethel Visiting Nurse Association Charity Profile

For more than 80 years Bethel Visiting Nurse Association has provided professional, compassionate home health care services to Northern Fairfield County residents.

Our home health care experts offer state-of-the art treatment and technologies to patients in the comfort and privacy of their homes. We consistently strive to provide quality services acording to the highest professional and ethical standards with personalized, one-on-one care to meet your individual needs.

A nonprofit organization, Bethel VNA has deep roots in our communities. Our staff and volunteers live in our service area. We have longstanding relationships with local physicians and community organizations and provide access to resources that help keep you at home and out of the hospital.

Bethel Visiting Nurse Association Volunteer Information

Volunteers provide companionship, emotional support, and help with personal projects. We can also help you arange additional support services, such as respite care, adult day care, shopping, home delivered meals and case management.

Bethel Visiting Nurse Association Donation Information

The Bethel VNA maintains a Patient Care Fund that is sustained through donations and fundraising efforts. The monies in this fund allow the Bethel VNA to provide care to the uninsured and underinsured; to purchase medical equipment and medications for patients and to fund support services for family caregivers.

As health insurance coverage has become more restrictive, the need for this fund has increased. The Bethel VNA also rewards 1-3 scholarships annually to students entering the health care field.
A specific fund is maintained for this purpose.

We are an active participant in the communities we serve and try to give back to those in need.
