Trail of Hope Horse Rescue & Rehabilitation Center in Sedalia, Colorado is a horse rescue and adoption organization designed to rescue and rehabilitate injured, abused, and neglected horses.

Our organization spends many hours working with the horses using a variety of natural healing and horsemanship training techniques. Every one of our horses receives individualized care and treatment until such time they are ready to be permanently placed in a loving and appropriate home. All horses remain at the Trail of Hope Horse Rescue and Rehabilitation Center facility until placement. We do not use foster facilities for our rehabilitation program. Horses that are not suitable for placement remain in our care indefinitely.

Trail of Hope Horse Rescue & Rehabilitation Center in Sedalia, Colorado has an ongoing need for volunteers to help perform a variety of services. Volunteer activities include but are not limited to daily barn chores, horse grooming, horse exercise (hand grazing, walking, and minimal riding); periodic fencing, barn, and facility maintenance and repair; minor construction; grant writing; donation solicitation and fundraising.
