Since opening our doors in 1979, we have served the community by providing safety and support to victims of domestic violence. Our vision has expanded to include a much broader social agenda, recognizing that to end domestic violence we must also work to end other forms of injustice and oppression that affect women's lives

We envision a just and equitable world for all women and their families.

It's time to do something about it!! In our tri-annual, 42-hour Volunteer Training, you will gain a comprehensive overview of violence against women, crisis intervention skills, anti-racism/anti-oppression training, and information on how to use positive personal action to end the staggering social problem of violence against women.

SPAN relies on the financial support of the community to provide services and support for battered women and children in Boulder and Broomfield Counties. We also appreciate the generosity of community members who also donate material items as well as services.
