Clean Water For Haiti Charities Organization Charity Profile

To demonstrate our love for the Lord and our neighbors by providing support and expertise for sustainable clean water projects in Haiti. This Mission is dedicated to responding to the needs of the Haitian people in the area of availability to clean water, using simple technology and proven effective methods for development of clean water projects.

Clean Water For Haiti Charities Organization Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in Clean Water for Haiti. Below you will find several ways to be involved with our work. In order for our programs to run well we need to have committed staff able to be with us for an extended period of time. Those that come on staff with us will need to have time to settle into the culture and learn the language. All of our programs are relationship based as well and require a period of time to connect with the communities that we work in. It is also important to know that while staff work in focused areas they all need to be flexible and willing to pitch in when needed in other areas.

We are looking for people that can work with our filter programs. Those that come to CWH to work in this area will learn all about BioSand filter technology, how to build the filters, how they work, and how they are maintained. You will be going into communities and meeting with people to tell them about the filters, helping to teach information classes, doing sanitation and hygiene teaching, helping to deliver and install the filters and doing the necessary follow-up and administration. You will also be responsible for helping teach training sessions when we have Technician Training classes on site as we work with other organizations. It is important that individuals working in this area be able to work independently as well as with a team and provide leadership where needed.
