Newfoundland And Labrador Legacy Nature Trust Charity Profile

The Newfoundland and Labrador Legacy Nature Trust was created by a founding committee of individuals from various environment-related sectors who saw the need for an organization that could bridge the gap between the
conservation capabilities and the conservation needs of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The Trust's priorities are to raise funds for nature conservation and environmental stewardship initiatives in the province and generally match project needs with sources of support; to promote and facilitate the development and implementation of regional and provincial-scale conservation initiatives; and to promote and facilitate partnerships on these initiatives.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Legacy Nature Trust is dedicated to fostering a culture of environmental stewardship in the province. The Trust invests in projects and facilitates partnerships that integrate the conservation of the natural environment with the social, economic and cultural well-being of Newfoundland and Labrador.
