The YMCA-YWCA has been a part of life in Northeast Avalon for over 150 years. Our core programs of Employment and Enterprise Services, Children's Services, and Health, Fitness, & Recreation are offered at over 30 locations in our communities.

Ymca-ywca Of Northeast Avalon Volunteer Information
The YMCA developed the first nationally recognized fitness leadership program in 1974 and has continued to train fitness leaders ever since. The YMCA’s real strength is partnership between committed volunteers, dedicated staff and involved communities. Skilled leadership is needed to engage individuals and families in the health of spirit, mind and body. YMCA Trainers deliver courses to certify volunteer YMCA Leaders/Instructors.
