Africa Community Technical Service Charity Profile

The Africa Community Technical Service (ACTS) is an interdenominational Christian organization which provides community development assistance and skills training to the people of Africa in cooperation with the local church and other grass roots organizations.

We carry out our mission under the authority of scripture seeking in all we do to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ.

Africa Community Technical Service Volunteer Information

ACTS is seeking committed Christians who will be able to gather prayer and financial support from churches and individuals. ACTS overseas personnel should be prepared for the challenges of cross-cultural life and work, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine attitude of service to God and love for people.

Africa Community Technical Service Donation Information

ACTS is supported by a wide array of funders. Corporations, schools, churches, businesses, service organizations like the Rotary Club and private donors have all contributed to various ACTS projects. ACTS is a member in good standing of the Canadian Council of Christian Charities (CCCC), and has also received funding from the Canadian International Development Association (CIDA) in the form of 2:1 matching grants for water supply projects.
