Shumas-strategic Humanitarian Services Charity Profile

SHUMAS is a non-profit making developmental Non Government Organisation seeking to make an indelible mark in the struggle against poverty by participating, conceiving and implemeting programmes and/or projects which are life-improving and empowering with and for poor rural and urban under-privileged communities.

We strive to enable each and everyone to meet their fullest potential, irrespective of gender or social status, without exerting too much pressure on our environment.

Shumas-strategic Humanitarian Services Volunteer Information

SHUMAS, though a relatively small organisation, has been able to provide voluntary work experience to more than 300 young persons in their "gap period" and also to older persons wishing to gain more experience, but who also may have useful experience to share. About 100 volunteers from Europe, North America and Australia have already participated in our schemes.
