Conejo Valley Senior Concerns Charity Profile

Serving the community since 1975, Senior Concerns is a private, non-profit organization, dedicated to serving the senior community and especially frail and special-need seniors, caregivers and families by providing quality programs, appropriate resources and educational outreach. raising funds and developing and administering quality-of-life programs for seniors with special needs. Our programs aim to keep families together and seniors active and in their homes for as long as possible, by offering affordable options which support persons in later life. Senior All programs are offered without regard for the ability to pay. Senior Concerns serves Ventura and western Los Angeles counties, special-need seniors, families, health professionals, caregivers and the community at large.

Conejo Valley Senior Concerns Volunteer Information

Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. With your help, Senior Concerns can fulfill its mission providing vital programs and services for frail and special-need seniors. All ages join with us to build a secure foundation for our participants. Our volunteers are from diverse backgrounds, yet all are devoted to the idea, “Respecting Yesterday, Caring Today and Planning for Tomorrow.”

Senior Concerns relies on contributions from the community to continue to offer our programs and serve all senior in our communities.

Your donation can help:

$25 - Funds Information, Resources and Seminars - Senior Advocates and Case Managers field thousands of calls from anxious families and individuals searching for answers and help. Support Groups eases the stress of caregivers.

$55 - Pays for a Day of Care for frail and special needs seniors - Day Care for those suffering from Alzheimer's disease, frailty, stroke, Parkinson's disease, blindness and other challenges of aging.

$100 - Provides 10 days of Meals on Wheels - Nutritious meals delivered to homebound seniors every day and weekly Brown bags full of groceries to low income elderly makes staying in their own homes possible.

$1000 - Investment in our future for generations to come.
