U. S. Doctors for Africa Charity Profile
US Doctors for Africa mobilizes volunteers and other resources from the United States and strategically distributes these resources in regions where they are most needed. Because the quality of care depends on understanding the cultures and contexts in which it is provided, we design and implement each response in concert with local needs and expertise, alert to regional circumstances and aware of ethnic, religious, cultural and/or national sensitivities.
US Doctors for Africa is a humanitarian organization committed to increasing access to medical care for diseases and conditions affecting the people of Africa. By mobilizing and distributing medical manpower, supplies, and equipment to medical institutions throughout the continent of Africa, we are able to provide medical and preventative healthcare and capacity-building to regions of Africa without available medical services. US Doctors for Africa believes that healthcare is a basic human right, and recognizes that a healthy population is essential for growth, development, and prosperity in every society.

USDFA is a tax-exempt 501c (3) organization. Financial reports are available upon request. Thanks to the generous support of donors like you, USDFA is able to bring critically needed medical man power, care, supplies, and education to those afflicted by HIV/AIDS and other treatable and preventable diseases. Our mobile medical clinics will assist us to reach the people in most remote parts of Africa.
